City Revival, the City College Brighton and Hove in-house hair and beauty salon, has had a full refurbishment, which will provide students with larger, professional standard facilities to learn their trades, bridging the gap between a learning environment and a high street salon.
Hairdressing customers to the salon can now benefit from more hairdressing stations, better lighting, an attractive, modern environment, a wider range of services and new products for sale including Moroccan Oil.
Beauty clients can benefit from a new, fresh ‘spa-like’ space with new comfortable couches, state of the art equipment and new cubicles for discreet treatments.
Rachel Turner, Head of Hairdressing said
‘We are delighted to open our new salon and proud of how it will help to train the next generation of beauticians and hairdressers in conditions that mirror professional salons.
I would encourage the public to come in and experience the new salon and the huge range of services and treatments that we offer. Our students are undertaking nationally recognised qualifications and are supervised by highly experienced tutors so you’ll receive a professional experience in the centre of Brighton, at a fraction of high-street prices.
Georgia Christoforou, Head of Beauty added
‘We feel very proud to be one of the leading hair and beauty training organisations in the South East and supporting the local industry.
The new salon will make our clients feel extra special when they come in for a pampering. From blow drys and highlights to manicures, facials and massages, they can pop in for a quick visit or the full works. Our talented students work incredibly hard to make sure their clients always want to come back for a second visit!’
City College is also encouraging the stars of the future to share their hair and beauty creations via social media in the run up to their annual hair and beauty show at the end of March. Share your photos and videos on Twitter @citycoll with the hashtag #CCBhairshow. The best one will win £100 worth of vouchers to spend at Sallys.
